Nasrullo Mahmudzoda: Robotization of CSTO Exercises is a Step Forward in Military Training
On October 23-24, CSTO parliamentarians will monitor military exercises in Tajikistan. Earlier the Ministry of Defence of Russia announced that robotic systems would be used in Nerushimoye bratstvo–2025 exercises to deliver various means for mining terrain and destroying fortifications.
"The robotization of CSTO exercises is a step forward in military training. The use of robotic systems will only bring benefit to us, increasing the effectiveness and safety of military operations," said Nasrullo Mahmudzoda, Chairman of the Committee on Law and Order, Defence and Security of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to him, robots are capable of performing dangerous tasks, such as delivering ammunition and mining terrain, thereby reducing the risk to personnel. In addition, the use of modern technologies contributes to the development of the Organization's military potential and improves the troops' readiness to counter modern challenges.
"On the other hand, it is important that these technologies are used strictly in compliance with international law, and with due regard for ethical norms in order to avoid unfavorable consequences," the parliamentarian stressed.
