Today, on October 14, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries during a telephone conversation.
"The commitment to further strengthening the Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance, as well as the continuous implementation of joint projects in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, has been reaffirmed," the Kremlin statement says.
The leaders of the two CSTO Member States also discussed the upcoming state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Russia.
