Today, on September 13, Sergei Aleinik, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, met with Yerlan Baizhanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus. The new head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission presented the Foreign Minister with copies of his credentials.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Belarusian-Kazakh relations and discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Special attention was paid to the interaction within international organizations.
The parties reaffirmed their focus on further development of relations in line with the strategic partnership between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Sergei Aleinik wished the new ambassador success in his diplomatic work.
