Olga Kovitidi: The CSTO will not allow bloodshed in Kazakhstan
Olga Kovitidi, representative of the Standing Commission on Political Affairs and International Cooperation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and member of the Committee on Defence and Security of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, believes that peace and calm can be restored in Kazakhstan only with the help of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
She said this to RIA Novosti. Olga Kovitidi is confident that the CSTO will not allow bloodshed in the country.
“Certainly, only with CSTO’s help can peace and calm be restored in the country. The most important thing is to establish peace. We will help in this. Then the Kazakh people themselves must learn the lessons of what happened, and I am sure there is a lot of work to be done. The CSTO will not allow bloodshed in our brotherly Kazakhstan,” said Olga Kovitidi.
