CSTO PA shares experience of model lawmaking in information security
Professor Mikhail Krotov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and deputy Executive Secretary of the CSTO PA, reported at the 67th permanent seminar on the building of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Parliamentary Assembly titled Status and Main Development Directions of Information Security of the Union State in Present-Day Conditions, held in Minsk on April 27.
The topic of his report was Information Security in the Legislative and Analytical Activities of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
The report analysed 11 model acts concerning information security, adopted by the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
The report focused on the model law On Information Security adopted in 2021 and on the progress of work on 10 more model legislative acts, including those on information protection and cybersecurity; principles of state regulation of the Internet; and security of critical information infrastructure facilities.
