Vladimir Andreichenko met in Minsk with the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Executive Secretary

On April 27 in Minsk, Vladimir Andreichenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, met with Sergei Pospelov, Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly. The meeting discussed the preparations for the field session of the CSTO PA Council in Yerevan (Republic of Armenia) and the draft agenda of the event.
The CSTO PA Executive Secretary emphasized professionalism of the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus: “We would like to thank the National Assembly and especially the House of Representatives, its specialized Standing Commission on National Security and competent bodies of the Republic of Belarus for the well-coordinated, professional and committed work on the draft of the Assembly’s 2021–2025 Programme of Lawmaking Activities and on the progress of its implementation.
Sergey Pospelov, CSTO PA Executive Secretary and head of CSTO PA Secretariat, has informed Vladimir Andreychenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, on the progress of the work on the standards of democratic elections and measures to protect the electoral sovereignty of the CSTO States against foreign interference.
The meeting focused on preparations for the CSTO PA Council field session in Yerevan (Republic of Armenia) and the upcoming chairmanship of the Republic of Belarus in the Organization.
