CSTO Parliamentarians Approve Draft of the New Legislative Program of the Organization
On 6 November, St. Petersburg hosted an ad hoc meeting of the CSTO PA's permanent commissions.
Following the meeting, CSTO parliamentarians unanimously supported the draft model legislation program for 2026-2030.
Anatoly Vyborny, deputy of the State Duma, Chairman of the CSTO PA Permanent Commission on Defence and Security, noted that the document is aimed at strengthening effective cooperation between the CSTO Member States in the approximation and harmonization of national legislation and the adaptation of the legal system to modern challenges.
Deputies are to present the draft program at the upcoming plenary session, which will take place on December 8, 2025, for final approval and transition to the implementation stage.
