The Standing Commission on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia endorsed the draft amendments to the CSTO Charter.

On September 5, the Standing Commission on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia endorsed the draft laws On Ratification of the Second Protocol on Amendments to the Charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organization of October 7, 2002 and On Ratification of the Second Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty of the Collective Security Treaty Organization of May 15, 1992.

According to the new amendments, the governing body can include both heads of state and prime ministers, if it is stipulated in the Constitution of the State.
