Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan is confident that the CSTO PA model legislation plans will be accomplished
“Nothing can stop us: neither thousands of kilometres between us, nor the difficulties that the COVID-19 epidemic has created for all of us today,” stated Nurlan Nigmatulin, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on June 15 at a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
According to him, all plans reported earlier at the Council meeting have been accomplished. Equally “active work projected in the 2021–2025 Action Plan, which is now being formed, among others, by our colleagues from other parliaments” lies ahead.
The most important thing today, according to Mr Nigmatulin, is the 75th anniversary of the Victory.
The Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan reminded meeting participants that the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev accepted the invitation and will take part in the Parade on Red Square and that the Kazakh military unit is already in Moscow and began march training for the commemoration parade on June 24: “All this demonstrates the unity of our countries, all members of the CSTO.” “I am confident that the great work that has been done over all these years and our plans enable great harmonious work, which has always distinguished the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly,” said Nurlan Nigmatulin.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say that our friends and our guests are always welcome in Kazakhstan and that we are always ready for joint work,” concluded the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
