Chairmen of CSTO Parliamentary Committees to Meet With Sergei Lavrov

On February 7, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the Chairmen of the Committees (Commissions) of the Parliaments of the CSTO Member States, which are responsible for international relations, defence, and security, will meet in Moscow.

The parties exchanged views on the situation in the Organization's area of responsibility and discussed current problems of international and regional security.

During the meeting with CSTO parliamentarians in 2023, Sergei Lavrov noted the particular importance of the parliamentary dimension of the Organization and stressed that parliamentarians effectively bring together the positions of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
