President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko Celebrates His 70th Birthday
Today, Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, celebrates his 70th birthday.
Heads of the CSTO Member States, other states and international organizations have sent their congratulations to the Belarusian leader.
Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, has sent a telegram of congratulations to his Belarusian counterpart and presented him Russia's highest award, the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, for his achievements in the development of strategic partnership, for strengthening friendly ties between the peoples and for his great personal contribution to the establishment and efficient operation of the Union State.
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the CSTO PA, congratulated the President of Belarus in his Telegram channel.
“On Aleksandr Lukashenko's birthday I would like to wish him success in achieving the goals aimed at the development and prosperity of Belarus — the country he loves, cares for and protects. I wish him happiness, health and good luck. May the relations between Russia and Belarus grow stronger and evolve,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan, wished the leader of Belarus good health and success in his state activities. He also noted Aleksandr Lukashenko's invaluable contribution to strengthening Tajik-Belarusian relations.
