Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov discussed the preparations for the upcoming session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
According to the official website of the Kyrgyz President, Sooronbay Jeenbekov arrived in Moscow for a one-day working visit on July 11.
Vladimir Putin and Sooronbay Jeenbekov discussed the progress of implementation of agreements reached as a result of the Russian President’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan, including the organization and hosting of events in the framework of 2020 being simultaneously the year of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the year of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The presidents discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as preparations for the upcoming session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The CSTO summit will take place on November 28, 2019 in Bishkek.
