Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan Met in Bishkek on the Margins of the SCO Summit

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, and Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, met in Bishkek on the margins of the SCO summit.

The meeting between two leaders of the CSTO Member States took place at the Ala Archa State Residence.

The President of Kazakhstan stated that he supports the Russian President's view on the development of humanitarian ties. The Kazakh leader underlined that cooperation between the two nations has been forged over many years, and assured his counterpart that the close relations between Russia and Kazakhstan will continue in the future.

Vladimir Putin noted that relations between Russia and Kazakhstan are developing across the board, without losing momentum. Additionally, the Russian leader took time to congratulate his counterpart on the voter support his political course has received in the recent elections.
