Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Aleksandr Lukashenko discussed preparations for the meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council to be held in Minsk on November 23.
“Mutual willingness to continue close joint work to deepen the Russian-Belarusian strategic partnership and alliance was confirmed,” Kremlin’s statement reads.
The heads of the two CSTO Member States also touched upon union integration, cooperation in various spheres and reconciled positions on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
As you may recall, the Republic of Belarus holds the chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in 2023.
