Putin and Tokayev Intend to Strengthen Russian-Kazakh Relations
On March 6, Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, had a telephone conversation with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, the heads of state discussed practical aspects of further development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Mr Putin and Mr Tokayev expressed their intention to strengthen Russian-Kazakh allied relations in various spheres.
As you may recall, by decision of Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation, and under the invitation of Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly formed a group of international observers to monitor the preparation and progress of the extraordinary parliamentary election in the Republic Kazakhstan on March 19, 2023.
