Vladimir Putin Held Phone Talks With Nikol Pashinyan
On August 23, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, held phone talks with Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia.
During the talks, the sides continued discussing the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, taking into account Vladimir Putin's talks with Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, during the state visit of the Russian President to Baku.
“Russia confirmed its readiness to further assist Armenia and Azerbaijan in working on the peace treaty, advancing border delimitation and demarcation process, as well as unblocking transportation and logistics ties,” the press service of the Russian President reported.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin, having arrived to Azerbaijan on a state visit, said that after the trip, he would contact the Armenian Prime Minister to share with him the results of the talks in Baku.
