Roman Vasilenko: CSTO has played, is playing and will play an important role for Kazakhstan's security

On February 29, Roman Vasilenko, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in a commentary to Sputnik said that the country's leadership has no doubts about the importance of the role of the CSTO.

"The CSTO has played, is playing and will play an important role for the security of the Republic of Kazakhstan," – emphasized Roman Vasilenko.

Deputy Minister noted that the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is currently the representative of Kazakhstan, and "the country is trying to strengthen the CSTO, as it is very important for the security of the state.

As you may recall, the Republic of Kazakhstan chairs the CSTO in 2024, continuing to carry out comprehensive work to strengthen and further develop the system of collective security.
