Rustami Emomali: It is necessary to create a collective biomedical-security mechanism

“Taking into account the situation that has developed amid the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to focus on implementing measures to ensure security against the threats of infectious diseases,” said Rustami Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, at a field meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
He noted that the Tajik side considers it necessary to continue work on creating a mechanism to ensure biomedical security, taking into account the positions of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States concerning the need to amend the CSTO charter documents.
