On October 5, Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, celebrates his birthday.
Emomali Rahmon's name is associated with the establishment of modern, sovereign Tajikistan, its lasting civil harmony and steady socio-economic development.
Under Emomali Rahmon's leadership, the Republic of Tajikistan has pursued a consistent and constructive foreign policy aimed at strengthening regional stability and countering modern challenges and threats—a policy that takes on particular significance as Tajikistan prepares to assume the chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in 2027.
Today, the President of Tajikistan is receiving well wishes from a number of foreign leaders. The presidents of the CSTO Member States have also extended their congratulations, noting Emomali Rahmon's many years of service in the country's highest office, as well as his major personal contribution to strengthening allied relations, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring security within the Organization's area of responsibility.
