On April 22, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan celebrates his birthday.
Vahagn Khachaturyan has dedicated many years to public, political, and scientific activities. His extensive professional experience, dedication, and deep understanding of socio-economic processes serve the interests of the Armenian people and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the President of Armenia at the Astana Environmental Summit.
"President of Armenia Vahagn Garnikovich Khachaturyan is celebrating his birthday today. My congratulations," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his speech.
The day before, the Armenian leader met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on the sidelines of the summit, who stated that "the relations between Tajikistan and Armenia are based on long-standing traditions of friendship and cooperation, mutual respect, and trust."
During the meeting, the presidents of Armenia and Tajikistan exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest. Special attention was paid to regional and international security issues, particularly the situation in the Middle East. In this regard, Emomali Rahmon emphasized Tajikistan's and the Collective Security Treaty Organization's unwavering stance on this matter. He stated, "We strongly advocate the peaceful resolution of all conflicts and disputes through political and diplomatic means."
As a reminder, Vahagn Khachaturyan arrived in Astana to participate in the 2026 Regional Environmental Summit, which is taking place in the capital of Kazakhstan from April 22 to 24.
