July 3 is Independence Day in the Republic of Belarus.
Traditionally, celebrations will take place across the country. The main event, a large festive concert, will be held in the capital, at the Minsk – Hero City monument.
The day before, a meeting was held in St. Petersburg between Belarusian veterans of the Armed Forces and students currently enrolled in military institutions in the city.
Sergei Khomenko, Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus to the CSTO PA, addressing the meeting participants, emphasized that Belarus has created all the necessary conditions for people who faithfully serve their Motherland to build successful careers and contribute to society.
