On December 10, the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat signed a cooperation agreement with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
“It is very important for us to cooperate with one of the best universities in Russia for joint lawmaking solutions in the field of security, with regard to expanding human resources, and in general to exchange relevant ideas in the field of financial security,” said Sergei Pospelov, CSTO PA Executive Secretary.
Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, listed the priority areas of upcoming cooperation.
“The signing of the agreement with the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat is a significant event for the Financial University, which will certainly open access to new international projects. Priority areas of cooperation include the implementation of research projects in the field of model lawmaking, holding joint scientific and practical conferences and cooperation in the field of expert and analytical and scientific activities”, said Stanislav Prokofiev.
The CSTO parliamentarians and experts have developed Recommendations on Regulating the Circulation of Virtual Assets (Combating the Spread of Cryptocurrencies and Other Electronic Payment Surrogates Undermining (Destroying) National Financial Systems). Financial security solutions are further developed on the platform of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
