Vladimir Putin Met with Speakers of CSTO Parliaments in the Kremlin
Vladimir Putin, Russian President, has met with the heads of parliaments of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Member States in the Kremlin.
Mr. Putin pointed out that Russia is open to cooperation and is committed to strengthening the organization and increasing its authority in ensuring peace and stability.
“I would also like to note that cooperation within the CSTO is built in the spirit of alliance, combat brotherhood and mutual assistance,” the Russian President emphasized. According to him, the CSTO Member States are actively working to preserve historical truth and memory.
The Russian President expects the CSTO lawmakers to contribute to countering the imposition of destructive ideological attitudes.
“I expect that the lawmakers of our states will also help to solve such a relevant task as countering the spread of inaccurate information and the imposition of destructive ideological principles from outside,” he said.
Mr. Putin added that Russia is waiting for the leaders and military formations of the CSTO states at the parade on May 9, 2025. Today, on December 9, a joint meeting of the CSTO PA Council and the seventeenth plenary session of the Assembly took place.
