Sergei Lavrov Calls CSTO, CIS and SCO Examples of Modern Diplomacy

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov addressed the participants of the 8th Eurasian Forum of Young Diplomats, held as part of the Manzherok youth festival in Gorno-Altaisk.

“I am pleased to state that cooperation through such multilateral associations as the CSTO, CIS, SCO are good examples of modern diplomacy. Now the task of deepening multifaceted ties between various integration frameworks operating in the Greater Eurasia space is objectively coming to the fore,” Mr Lavrov emphasized.

Recall that the Manzherok International Youth Festival, to be held until July 15, is attended by representatives from all CSTO Member States, as well as from Abkhazia, China, Moldova, Mongolia, South Ossetia, Syria and Uzbekistan.

The festival’s agenda includes thematic work sessions, a session entitled Eurasian Vector of Global Multipolarity, a lecture entitled Elections in Russia as a Basis for Political Career Stability and Development, as well as round-table discussions of international relations.
