Shokhien Shermukhammad: We Witnessed True Respect for the Will of the People in Kyrgyzstan

Shokhien Shermukhammad, member of the international group of observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, praised the organization of the electoral process in Kyrgyzstan, noting the calm atmosphere on election day (November 30), and the high level of public confidence in the procedures.

"In Kyrgyzstan, we witnessed true respect for the will of the people. At the polling stations we visited, the secrecy of ballot was strictly observed, and the members of election commissions responded to our questions in a proper and friendly manner," said Shokhien Shermukhammad, summarizing the preliminary results of the CSTO PA observer mission.

He also stressed that the competitive environment and the active participation of civil society in monitoring the process played a significant role.
