Communications experts from the 102nd military base in Armenia conducted exercises in high altitude environment
During a comprehensive exercise involving advanced communications in high-altitude environment of the Republic of Armenia, communications experts of the Southern Military District set up a communication system of command points.
According to the press service of the Southern Military District, after marching into the designated area on a high-altitude military training ground, military personnel deployed mobile field command posts and communication nodes.
A unified network of satellite communications was deployed, which operated independently from the main forces; cooperation was established and stable communication between units in high-altitude environment was ensured.
The training involved operating in aggressive jamming environment, using advanced communication facilities across various frequency bands.
Particular attention was paid to the practical communication in the unified automated control system between units in Gyumri and Yerevan military garrisons.
Over 100 servicemen as well as around 20 pieces of military and special equipment were involved in the exercise of the communications troops of the Southern Military District military base.
