Armenian Parliament Speaker met with CSTO PA mission

During the meeting with the international observers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly at the early elections of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, thanked the observers for the work, highlighting the importance of international observation of the electoral processes by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

In his turn, Kanybek Imanaliyev, coordinator of the CSTO PA observers, thanked on their behalf the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for the invitation to monitor the voting process and election campaign and assured Ararat Mirzoyan that the CSTO PA observation process is conducted objectively and impartially, and that the CSTO PA observers in their work follow the principles set out in the Convention on Standards of Democratic Election, Voting Rights and Freedoms in the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
