Tajikistan fully supports joint efforts to strengthen cooperation within the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly
Tajikistan fully supports the joint efforts of the CSTO Member States aimed at further strengthening cooperation within the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, according to the Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda in his speech at a meeting of the CSTO PA Council on June 15.
The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan expressed confidence that further development of mutually beneficial parliamentary interaction will bolster socioeconomic development and become a reliable tool for maintaining stability and security in the Organization’s area of responsibility.
Speaking about the remote session of the CSTO PA Council, Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda noted “active presidency of the Russian Federation in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly” and wished success in further implementation of the set tasks and priority areas, particularly stressing that the Republic of Tajikistan “makes consistent efforts to implement CSTO programmes and strategies, takes measures to carry out the decisions aimed at sustaining the Organization.”
The Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan sincerely congratulated all meeting participants and the peoples of the CSTO Member States on the common victory in the Second World War.
“At the cost of their lives, ultimate heroism and sacrifice, our ancestors managed to save the world and pass over a feeling of constant pride in the Victory,” said Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda.
