"The CSTO Secretariat is worried and concerned about the escalation in the Middle East and the growing tension in general. According to our analysts' assessments, the risks of conflict expansion exist, and they are quite real," Imangali Tasmagambetov emphasized.
According to him, "the universal and regional security systems are unable to efficiently influence the warring parties," but after a relevant request and determination of the mandate, the CSTO is ready to provide assistance to settle the conflict.
"The CSTO is definitely ready to provide its tools to settle this conflict in case there is a relevant request and a defined mandate," said the Secretary General of the Organization.
On April 19, the Iranian media reported about three downed drones over Isfahan province in Iran. Israel did not claim responsibility for the incident, which occurred six days after the Iranian strike on Israeli territory.
