Tohir Nabizoda: State Duma Elections in Dushanbe Organized and Transparent

Voting for the State Duma elections in Russia is closing at the polling station at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Dushanbe. Tohir Nabizoda, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Finance of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and CSTO PA observer, monitored the electoral process throughout the day.

The representative of the international mission gave positive feedback on the level of preparation for the election, praising the well-coordinated work of the organizers and compliance with all democratic standards.

"The voting at the Embassy of the Russian Federation took place in an organized, calm and transparent manner. Plenty of staff members were in charge of the process, explaining the order and procedure to voters when necessary," Tohir Nabizoda said.

According to the observer, a steady and moderate voter flow ensured that all the necessary procedures were carried out smoothly without heavy crowding. Overall, the voting process at the polling station unfolded in a comfortable and organized environment.

As of 19:00 Moscow time, more than 212,000 people in total voted abroad in the State Duma elections, according to Yevgeny Ivanov, deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
