Tokayev presents officers’ shoulder straps to 12 top military graduates
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, attended the State Flag Raising Ceremony at the Atameken Ethno-Memorial Complex. During the solemn ceremony, 12 best graduates from military high schools received officer ranks from the hands of the President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The best graduates of the Military Institute of Radioelectronics and Communications of the Ministry of Defence, the Military Institute of the Ground Forces of the Ministry of Defence, the Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard Academy, and the Gabdullin Civil Defence Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received their officer degrees.
“Patriotism begins with respect for state symbols. We give a good example to the younger generation by glorifying our state symbols and educating them in the spirit of patriotism and creation,” President Tokayev said.
The companies of the Guard of Honour of the State Guard Service, the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Internal Affairs completed the ceremonial march in front of the President and participants.
