Ulukbek Uzakbaev: Observers Have no Remarks to the Beginning Procedure of the Referendum in Astana
Ulukbek Uzakbaev, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Law and Order, Combating Crime and Counteraction to Corruption of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, the coordinator of the CSTO PA observer group, noted that the parliamentarians have no remarks to the beginning procedure of the referendum in Astana.
"We began monitoring as soon as the ballot boxes were sealed at 7:00. It is important to note that all procedures are being carried out in full accordance with the regulations. Commission members are working in a coordinated manner, and the first voters started to arrive within minutes of the polls opening. As of now, we have no remarks regarding the beginning procedure. Overall, the vote is taking place in a calm and friendly atmosphere," Ulukbek Uzakbaev shared.
CSTO PA international observers will present the preliminary results of the monitoring after the counting of ballots at all polling stations is completed.
