Minsk Discusses Medical Support for the CSTO Collective Force
Representatives of medical services of the defence ministries of the CSTO Member States held a working meeting in Minsk on April 19–21, the CSTO official website reports.
Meeting participants discussed common approaches to the provision of first aid and the establishment of its standards in the CSTO Troops (Collective Force) taking into account the national legislations of the CSTO Member States.
In particular, they discussed the standardization of certain aspects of medical support and the formation of a system of remote medical consultations to provide assistance to medical specialists from the main (central) military-medical organizations of the CSTO Member States.
Views were also exchanged on medical support for joint (special) exercises held in Kazakhstan in 2022 and medical support for the planned joint exercises with the CSTO Collective Force in 2023.
Heads of military-medical services identified ways to improve and develop interaction on medical support for CSTO Troops (Collective Force).
In the course of the meeting, at the invitation of Dmitry Pinevich, Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the participants visited an exhibition of pharmaceutical products and production facilities of the Republican Unitary Production Enterprise Belmedpreparaty.
