Minsk Praised Effective Cooperation Between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan Within the CSTO
Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of Belarus, welcomed Adylbek Kasymaliyev, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan.
During the talks, the parties discussed practical steps to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as the implementation of joint projects and furthering of cooperation in various fields.
Aleksandr Lukashenko praised the effective cooperation between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan within the integration platforms such as the CSTO, CIS, EAEU and SCO.
Adylbek Kasymaliyev thanked the Belarusian side for the warm welcome and impeccable organisation of the visit. He also conveyed warm greetings from SadyrJaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties underlined that relations between the two countries have gained new momentum in recent years, creating more opportunities for security, business and humanitarian ties.
As you may recall, this is the first official visit by the head of the Kyrgyz government to Belarus in the last 24 years, which gives it special significance.
