The round table discussion titled Fighting Terrorism: What Will Change? was initiated and chaired by Anatoly VYBORNY, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defence and Security of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of legislative and executive authorities and expert community were invited to participate in the discussion.
The round table addressed the role of public institutions and international organizations in countering terrorism, the use of modern technology to counteract extremism, legislative initiatives aimed at undermining the economic foundations of terrorism and prosecuting and suppressing the financing of terrorist activities.
