Military & Economic Cooperation Discussed at the CSTO Joint Staff

On April 23–24, a meeting of the Working Group on military-economic cooperation under the Chair of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military and Economic Cooperation was held.

The event took place at the CSTO Joint Staff Headquarters and was chaired by Viktor Zinoviev, Secretary of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military and Economic Cooperation.

The meeting participants reviewed the progress in implementing the decisions of the 23rd session of the ICMEC, held in November 2025 in Astana, as well as discussed and approved the agenda for the 24th session of the ICMEC on June 18 in Minsk.

As a result of the meeting, draft decisions of the Commission were approved regarding the creation of an interstate system for cataloging military supplies of the CSTO Member States, ensuring mutual protection of intellectual property rights for results obtained and used in the course of military and economic cooperation, as well as on a number of organizational issues.
