St. Petersburg Hosts a Meeting of the Council of Legislators

On April 26, Tavrichesky Palace in St Petersburg is hosting a meeting of the Council of Legislators under the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. 
It is held by the co-chairmen of the Council of Legislators — Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma and Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, and Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, is expected to make a speech.
The Council members will discuss relevant issues of increasing the birth rate and supporting families with children in the framework of the implementation of the President's Address to the Federal Assembly of February 29, 2024. They will also discuss the implementation of the state program “Comprehensive development of rural areas”.
