Zapad-2025 Military Exercises of Belarus and Russia to be Held in September
From September 12 to 16, Zapad-2025 joint strategic exercises of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia will take place in the territory of Belarus, as announced by Valery Revenko, Head of the Department of International Military Cooperation.
The main goal of the exercises is to test the capabilities of the two countries to ensure the military security of the Union State, and their readiness to respond to possible aggression. For the sake of transparency, Belarus invites foreign observers to monitor the exercises.
In addition, in early September, Belarus will host military exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
CSTO parliamentarians will take part in exercises such as Vzaimodeistvie-2025, with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, Poisk-2025, with reconnaissance units, and Echelon-2025, with logistical support forces.
