The day of the Majlisi Oli – the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan – will be celebrated on September 26, according to amendments to the national law On Holiday Days. And December 1 has been declared the Day of Local Government Bodies.
The purpose of adoption of the law of the Republic of Tajikistan On Making Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan On Holidays is to honour the role and importance of the supreme legislative authority and local government bodies.
The law On Making Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan On Holidays was adopted by the Resolution of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 15, 2023 and supported by the resolution of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on 16 June this year at the 14th session held under the leadership of Rustami Emomali, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
