Vladimir Putin Congratulated CSTO Leaders on Nowruz

On March 21, Vladimir Putin, Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council and President of the Russian Federation, sent telegrams of congratulations to the heads of state of the Organization’s members to wish them a happy Nowruz, the spring equinox holiday.

Vladimir Putin wished the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and the peoples of these countries prosperity and well-being. He also praised the high level of cooperation with each of these states and expressed confidence that mutually beneficial and multi-faceted ties will keep growing successfully.

As you may recall, in 2026 Nowruz is a public holiday in most countries of the Organization and is celebrated with large-scale cultural events.
