Volodin: We Must Do Our Best to Ensure That the Parliamentary Dimension Benefits Our Countries and Peoples

Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma and CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, met with Nurlanbek Shakiyev, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic, who arrived in Russia on an official visit this morning. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed increasing interaction between the two countries, in particular political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation. 

“Of course, the development of relations between our countries is largely possible thanks to our presidents: their constant communications, meetings, agreements, which are then implemented in parliaments,” said Vyacheslav Volodin. He emphasized that “we must do our best to ensure that the parliamentary dimension benefits our countries and nations.”
