On June 28, CSTO Member States celebrate the main Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the Russian State Duma, today congratulated all Muslims on Eid al-Adha.
“Marking the end of the Hajj, this bright holiday unites Muslims in the pursuit of goodness, justice, mercy... I wish you happiness, success and all the best,” said Mr Volodin.
On this day, festive prayers are performed in mosques; it is customary to go and congratulate each other on the day of sacrifice.
