Vyacheslav Volodin participated in a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council

A session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held remotely under the chairmanship of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. The Collective Security Council was attended by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The session discussed allied cooperation within the organization, further improvement of CSTO’s effectiveness, as well as current problems of international and regional security.
The meeting was attended by Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia; Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of Belarus; Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan; Talent Mamytov, Acting President of the Kyrgyz Republic and Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan, and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.
As you may recall, the Republic of Tajikistan will take over the chairmanship of the organization in 2021.
