CSTO States’ deputy foreign ministers to meet in Moscow
The conference titled Collective Security in a New Era: Experience and Prospects of the CSTO will be held in Moscow on February 9 at the Valdai International Discussion Club with the support of the Russian Foreign Ministry. According to the official website of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the event will be attended by Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General.
Within the framework of the two panel sessions – CSTO Challenges in the Face of Growing International Tensions: A View from Capitals and Crisis Lessons and Eurasian Security – the conference participants will discuss topical issues of international security.
Among the invited participants of the conference are Armen Ghevondian, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia; Sergei Aleinik, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus; Marat Syzdykov, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Nuran Niyazaliyev, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic; Aleksandr Pankin, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; Sodik Imomi, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan; leading political scientists, international-security specialists and experts.
