Andrei Kartapolov: Kazakhstan’s Central Election Commission Has Done Outstanding Work
International group of observers from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly praised the organization of the elections to the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Andrei Kartapolov, the group coordinator and Chairman of the Committee on Defence of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, noted the high level of organization of the recent election campaign and the provision of all necessary conditions for voters.
"Without exception, every polling station we visited today had one thing in common—calm, orderly work. Everyone involved knew exactly what they were doing—commission members, observers, and everyone else supporting the process. This creates just the kind of environment voters need to comfortably fulfill their constitutional duty. Kazakhstan’s Central Election Commission has done outstanding work. I am confident that these efforts will ensure a successful outcome," Andrei Kartapolov shared.
As you may recall, the CSTO PA international group of observers included representatives of the national parliaments of the Organization’s Member States: the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.
