The CSTO PA international group of observers continues monitoring the preparation and conduct of the elections of deputies to the Kurultai of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Monitoring of the voting process is taking place on August 23 in Astana and the Akmola Region.
Giyosiddin Ashurzoda, Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Finance of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, stressed the exceptional importance of the ongoing elections for Kazakhstan’s future state-building.
"The successful and legitimate formation of the new Kurultai is a crucial step toward further economic stability and prosperity for the Republic of Kazakhstan," Giyosiddin Ashurzoda emphasized. "I am confident that the deputies elected by citizens today will continue the course toward the country’s sustainable development and the strengthening of interparliamentary cooperation within the CSTO."
