Kudrat Davlatzoda: Information Transparency Allows Kazakhstan's Citizens to Make Informed Choices
Kudrat Davlatzoda, deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Communications of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, praised the high level of awareness among the population of Kazakhstan regarding the draft of the country’s new Constitution.
"We speak with people outside the polling stations. It is clear that voters understand what they are voting for. The main points of the new Constitution are explained at every turn – in the media and brochures, on banners. This level of transparency in communication between the government and society deserves respect and sets a good example," Kudrat Davlatzoda said.
Voting in Kazakhstan will continue as scheduled until 20:00. CSTO Parliamentary Assembly observers will keep monitoring the process until the polls close in Astana and the Akmola region.
