O. Belokonev: CSTO showed the whole world that the Collective Forces are ready to respond to any challenges and threats

Oleg Belokonev, Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Security of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the military and political monitoring of the situation in the CSTO Central Asian region of responsibility during the CSTO CRDF exercise Vzaimodeistvie 2021 in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan: “The final event, three joint exercises of the CSTO Troops (Forces) in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, has been completed. Of course, their main component is the military one, and as for the parliamentary component, all chairpersons of parliamentary committees and commissions on defence and security of the Collective Security Treaty Organization States could personally see the level of our contingents’ preparation,” noted Mr. Belokonev.
He emphasized that the Commander of Troops gave high praise to the Belarusian contingent involved in the exercise and the joint landing of the troops.
“I am glad that the exercise ended without any violations or incidents, and we showed the whole world that the system of the CSTO Collective Rapid Deployment Force is ready to respond adequately to any challenges and threats; the task will be carried out in any CSTO State without question; we advise no one to mess with us,” said Oleg Belokonev.
