On January 27, Victoria Abramchenko, Head of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Monitoring Mission, announced the results of the Organization's parliamentarians' observation of the presidential elections in the Republic of Belarus at a press conference in Minsk.
On January 24-25, 2025, the group members met with the presidential candidates of the Republic of Belarus: head of the Public Center for Legislative Initiatives A.A. Kanopatskaya, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus O.S.Gaidukevich, confidant, head of the election headquarters of the candidate for President of the Republic of Belarus A.G.Lukashenko, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Yu.A.Senko, Chairman of the Republican Party labor and Justice by A.N.Khizhnyak and with presidential candidate, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus S.A.Syrankov.
The group members, led by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Victoria Abramchenko, also met with the Chairman of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeenko, and the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus Igor Karpenko.
On January 26, 2025, the group members visited polling stations in Minsk and the Minsk Region, as well as the Public Election Monitoring Center, and observed various stages of the voting process.
The group members particularly noted the high level of information and awareness-raising activities aimed at all participants in the elections. A large number of media outlets provided information coverage of the election campaign in detail and objectively.
