Artem Turov: Mass Media Provided Equal Opportunities for All Candidates
Artem Turov, deputy Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and member of the CSTO PA observer group, noted that the mass media gave equal opportunities to all presidential candidates.
“We are observing the election process. I would like to note that each polling station has all the information, it fully provides the opportunity for people with disabilities to vote. In addition, there is a large number of observers, both national and international. There are a lot of voters at the polling stations, and we can see that people are interested. We have not recorded any violations, everything is compliant with the national legislation in place. I would like to emphasize a rather high political competition, which shows the open character of the elections. The mass media provided equal opportunities for all candidates,” said Artem Turov.
As you may recall, 812 mass media from 23 states are accredited in Belarus.
